Apache CXF : NullPointerException

Hi,
I was trying to expose a web service using Apache Camel (2.12.3) and
Apache CXF (2.7.10).
My route configuration is as follows,

I am running this on a jetty server which I embedded in my custom
application. I am getting the following error on startup,

Has anybody encountered this before? Any assistance would be of great help
as I am struggling on this for a while.
