Sting out of range:2 new ofbiz installation

Hello all,
I'm new to ofbiz, and recently installed a new copy in my linux machine.
However when I try to access the ecommerce application I get this console
error and the webpage does not display properly.
Don't know if this is the correct channel to request for help, if it isn't
please let me know where I should be posting these kinds of questions.
