Stopping SFW Video palying

Hi
my team have created a video ion SFW format, the SFW has it own video controls, so all is good

the question when i close the windows in Flex the video sound keeps playing, i was looking for a .STOP but can not see anything out there

or should i get the just to create a MP4 or F4V file ?
