Help with JMeter Client/Server

Hi,

I am looking for help in trying to setup a client/server working test. I
have all the ports configured, firewalls open, port forwarding configured,
etc. However, I never see any response data, including JMeter variables,
properties or system properties come back to the client. I see the
requests go out for them within the JMeter client, but I never see a
response from any sampler.

I do know that the client is running the test because I see it start and
finish. I know that execution of the test is taking place on the server
because there is file manipulation on the server that is executing
correctly and to completion. It is just that I never see the results from
any of the Samplers come back to the JMeter client. Should I be seeing
results within the client when doing a "View Results Tree"?
