I’m having a bug with ActiveMQ that I’m trying to track down.
Our queue server was showing that one of our queues was rather large. It
had 16k messages and none were being processed.
We have a ‘stats’ framework that browses the queue, and takes the messages
and computes some stats from them. This way we can see what’s in the queue
and now being processed.
But the queue browser fetched no messages.
On a hunch I thought that maybe ActiveMQ was corrupt… so I restarted it.
On restart , it now has -16 messages. Not sure how that’s possible :)
I have no exceptions in the log… any advice? Maybe just purge/delete the
whole queue as it might be corrupt?
